Still barely lurking here. I'm slowly getting back to drawing more regularly after too long of a hiatus. I'm mostly doing Warframe fanarts now, but I hope I'll get back to original stuff and other fandom stuff again.

First, I just want to say thanks to all the people who've been watching/faving/leaving comments on my gallery. I really appreciated it even though I don't say thanks to everyone individually. <3
I'm actually a lot more active in Tumblr than in dA lately. If you have a blog there, let me know and we can do link exchange or something. Currently, I'm doing the draw yourself in someone's style meme so feel free to send me a note.
Ok, back to working on those silly Avengers comic strip, and I guess eventually I should finish my cracky Skyward Sword comic.

Back~ Sorta

I have returned to dA, but I don't know how active I'll be since I'm still very busy with life, family, and other stuff (and playing City of Heroes XD). After a half year (or is it almost a year?!) hiatus from drawing, I'm slowly starting to get back to drawing again. I still owe art work to a bunch of people so hopefully I'll get to those eventually. Other than that, I'm just taking it easy, one drawing at a time. Anyway, so what's up? Hope you guys are all well.

History of Hyrule Contests
Reposting because this contest deserves more LOVE and ENTRIES. Woodland-Mel's History of Hyrule ~*music festival*~ art contest, as well as a companion fanfic contest, is still accepting entries. The deadline to submit your drawing is September 30, which means less than two months left!! There are plenty of FABULOUS prizes waiting for people to grab, and your art might just be awesome enough to be on a calendar!

Zelda Exchange
Friday (August 5) is the last day to sign up for Round 7 of the zelda-exchange. So far we've gotten over 20 participants (!!), and judging by the list of participants and the prompts they've sent in, this is shaping up to be a very exciting round. If you're interested in gift exchanges and in the Zelda fandom, this group will be perfect for you. You don't need to be an artist to participate (we're multimedia gift exchange group). As much as I love fan arts, we welcome artists and writers of all sorts with open arms. All skill levels are welcomed. I'm actually looking for more writers as well as artists who do crafts because of the unusual (but in a good way) requests we've gotten this time around. We also have two people who are willing to make jewelry or little wearable, miniature crafts, so if anyone is interested, please join our group and sign up.

Borrowed with permission from bob-illustration. It's been about six or seven months since my return to DA. In that time I've met new people as well as gotten reacquainted with old friends. bob-illustration's list of questions looks like a great way of learning more about friends, old and new, so I decided to repost them here. If you have a bit of time, I would love to see you guys answering these questions.
1. What's your name/alias?
2. Do you post your art on DA? If so, what kind of art do you do? (I know the answer for some of you, but I'd like to hear how you'd describe your own art!)
3. If you are an artist - why do you do art? Are you a professional, is it a hobby, do you do it for therapeutic reasons, to share with others, etc?
4. Are there any artists or creative people, professional or not, that you greatly admire?
5. Favorite animal? Do you have any animals?
6. Where are you from?
7. How are you today?
8. What's something you love to do besides art?
9. What's the last thing you ate?
10. Why do you watch me? Is there a particular type of art that you want to see more of? Or do you know me personally or from somewhere else?

I'll start by answering these questions.

Yup. Mostly fanart but occasionally original stuff. I also like to draw comic.
3. If you are an artist - why do you do art?
I've always enjoyed drawing. It's a hobby of mine, and in a way it's my way of connecting with my grandfather.
4. Are there any artists or creative people, professional or not, that you greatly admire?
My artist grandfather is someone I admired greatly both as a person and as an artist. Besides that, some old masters, some contemporary professional artists, and my friends. You guys are awesome and inspire me.
5. Favorite animal? Do you have any animals?
I'm an animal lover, but I guess I have a soft spot for dogs. I used to be a cat lover, but I've been converted. Our house has a whole menagerie, including dogs, a black-capped lory, koi, and turtles, but only one of the dogs is considered mine and wlesmana.
6. Where are you from? USA but currently living in Asia.
7. How are you today? Not bad.
8. What's something you love to do besides art? Cooking, baking, and reading. I'm still not as awesome of a cook than my mom, but I'm learning.
9. What's the last thing you ate? A slice of leftover pizza, which was delicious, by the way.
11. Are you bad enough to save the president? I have to kill you if I told you.
